Thermostat Housing Kit for Fresh Water Cooled Mercruisers. This housing is used on inboard and Sterndrive applications with fresh water cooling. Or is needed to convert to Fresh Water Cooling when cooling the manifolds also. It will fit the following applications: All Small Block GM Engines, 7.4L MIE from 1992-97, and 8.2L (502 C.I.D.) MIE from 1993-96. Has 2-3/8 NPT ports for senders. Mounting holes are directly across from each other, they are not offset. This item replaces OEM: # 55131A5.
